Tom completely boggled my mind last week: he asked if we could make time to go up in the London Eye (I've been once with Meg; he's never been).
And then he looked happy up there!
Who is this man, and what did he do with my husband?
We started off with pleasant sunshine, but the weather turned over the course of our thirty-minute ride.
We didn't really care, though. It's still a very cool vantage point.
Although it was unfortunate that we left our umbrellas in the flat.
Obviously, by the time we rode the tube over to Pimlico and made our way down to the Tate Britain, the sun was out again.
After spending some quality time with J.M.W. Turner, we shared a classic pub lunch...
...before we buzzed up to Saint Pancras, where we fell a little bit in love with this lego tree.
I mean, how awesome is this?
From the station, we strolled over to the British Library for one final goodbye visit.
Yes, I needed a goodbye-to-the-library visit, okay? They had a fun temporary exhibit on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (probably thanks to Guy Ritchie's newest flick) and another on the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots (maybe because of the recent 469th anniversary of her birth? I don't know.).
We finished up the afternoon in Regent's Park. Obviously.
