First Saturday

After what feels like ages of just taking care of stuff, we decided to take a few hours off from setting up life to explore a few places.

As you might expect, Muir Woods was packed with tourists on this gorgeous Saturday, but all we had to do was take the "Hillside Trail," to escape them.

Please pardon my Saturday morning hair.

As someone raised on Star Wars, I kept a lookout for ewoks. As someone who recently saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Tom kept a lookout for chimps.

From Muir Woods, we made our way to the coast for a lookout point...

...before heading down to Stinson Beach for some lunch at the Sand Dollar (Tom was a fan of the fish tacos; I highly recommend the tofu avocado sandwich).

 Post-lunch, we strolled over to the beach, where this sign multiplied Tom's fear of sharks by a factor of 10.

He kept a safe distance from the water the whole time.
